Paw Pet-radise Cafe & Bishan Park - Dog Run

Last Friday, I went for a very impromptu trip to Paw Pet-radise Cafe with Cookie, Sandy, her boyfriend and their pup -Junior. We only reached after 10pm. We had to wait for quite a while just for a table as it was a full house.

Lots of different kind of dogs there! After awhile, most of the golden retrievers went off, and suddenly, there's more smaller breeds instead.

The lighting there were very dim, so almost all the photos I took were blur.

Look at Junior's stunned face! He was scared of the dogs there at first. After awhile, he became daring and started running around.

This cutie kept on coming to me and sat on my lap multiple times! Or maybe it just wants the food on the table.

The shy boy that is scared of my camera. Every time I point it at him, he will move back and try to dodge.

We waited for our food for very long. Especially even when the finger foods are the last to come. The waitress even came to ask what we had ordered when we went to ask about our food.

Overall, the main course were bad. I didn't ordered any, but I tried Sandy's pasta. It doesn't even taste cooked. The pasta were hard. The wedges and mid wings were okay. Well, how could it go wrong?
We only left the place at probably 1am? As the food took very very long to be served.

And, somebody's dog came up to the sofa I was sitting on and peed there. No guessing... My pants were stained.

I may still go again just for the sake of the place that allows Cookie to go off-leash for a play session without worrying he will run off.

Thankful for Sandy and her boyfriend for the lift and treat!

Then the next day, Saturday, I brought Cookie and Eileen to Bishan Park! We were meeting another Japanese Spitz and it's owner there for the dog run.

We reached early, so I decided to walk around since it's my first time there.

Then we decided to ahead to the Dog Run first to let Cookie be more familiarize with the place.

Refusing to go in at first.

The first dog we met that came over to meet Cookie

Didn't even dare to run around after taking the leash off. Sticking by our chair, smelling here and there

After while, a standard poodle came out of nowhere, charging towards Cookie, wanting to play with him.

Cookie was shocked and came running back to me. It was so funny! Usually he is the one scaring other dogs.

Then he felt curious

In the end, he decided being with us is the safest

Then Kanon came! An eight months old Japanese Spitz. The one we were supposed to meet.

Either Cookie was tired or decided the chair is his safe zone, he stuck to the place and wouldn't leave there.

After awhile, Yuki came! A six months old Japanese Spitz, which were so small size. She's only half of Cookie's weight!

We left at 5:30pm, trying to avoid peak hour charges and before everybody started flagging cab trying to avoid peak hour too.

It was pretty fun, but I guess it was Cookie's first time there, so he was reserved and didn't play with any dogs except some smelling here and there. Hopefully he'll open up after a few more trips!
