Half head rebonding at the old usual salon. Price increased from $55 to $69. No choice as she's the only one that does half head rebonding. 

Then, today, went for Treatment with Lihern that we bought groupon vouchers previously which cost $18.  

L'Oreal 7 steps hair treatment:

Added $20 for this Micro Mist Machine which has two kind of lights, red that helps with absorption on the products, blue that helps with scalp, bacteria and dandruff.

Went for the soft rebonding with Lihern at Rapunzel Salon at Orchard for $68 from groupon.

But due to some reasons, we got refunded with credits in Groupon and had to pay cash for it.

Last Sunday, 11 August 2013

Went all the way to Tanjong Pagar, 100AM for hair treatment with Lihern. We bought the $38 groupon vouchers which includes Hair & Scalp treatment. Then I added additional step for the scalp treatment and a hair cut by my stylist which happens to be a senior one. 

Total: $32 (UP $40) + $25 + GST = $60.95 + $38 (Groupon)

Spent so much for my hair! Side note, my hair is short now again which I'm liking it! 

After that, went off the meet Eileen and her family for the 7th Month Dinner.

Busy period coming, with all the talks after classes, then FOH volunteer, and most important UT3. 

Braces Appointment #1

I finally took the first step and booked an appointment for my first consultation.

Decided on "About Braces", Dr Stefan Vaz after looking at reviews and forum.

If I were to take up their package for braces, this fee would be waived off.

Hopefully the pricing offered would be cheap and no extractions needed although I know it only happens with very very slim chance.

Shunji Matsuo 313 and Town with Cousin, Lihern

Went for my first try at those higher end salon with Lihern! Previously bought the voucher for treatment at Shunji Matsuo with the cousin online at Groupon. Paid $38 in total. 

Overall, ok experience and service for a 'subsidized' customer.

 I would expect more if I were paying full amount though.

Had our first meal after that at Coco Ichibanya! 

Due to it being our first try, we thought Japanese Curry are not spicy and so, we gei kiang order level 3 spiciness. It was so spicy for the both of us! Couldn't finish mine in the end. $12.80 nett! 

Went to shop around after that then I trained home at 6:45PM while Lihern went for her Japanese lesson.

Mother's Day dinner at Cafe De Paradiso

So, initially was intending to treat mom for vegetarian mother's day dinner. Then, I asked her if she wants to ask my grandma along, as the previous night when they celebrate mother's day with the other aunts and uncles, we were not there. Decided on this Cafe since it's near my grandma, and I have been wanting to try it. Last minute, mom asked my neighbour along, as her sons are not taking her to any dinner and will be alone at home. Lucky us, mom friend drove us to my grandma's. Ended up cousin came along too.

WRONG CHOICE

Here's the bad experience. Before we were seated, we ordered our food first cause we know it will take awhile to be done. We ordered around 7.45pm. The claypot yi mee came, without any utensils. Mom self-serviced to get it. Then, vegetarian sharkfin soup came. Without any small bowl as well. They just dump the big bowl here and went off. Until we call out. After that, the cereal prawn came. We just stared at it cause our rice wasn't here! Halfway, the table beside us asked for two water, and the waitress slam the drinks on our table without checking and went off. We have to pass the drinks ourselves to the next table.

This is one thing I am most mad of. After nearing to 8.45pm, I checked with the waitress on the rest of our dishes, if she have missed out ordering it. She assured me it's on the way. And went off. Shortly, I saw the chef shouting to her, asking her HOW MANY BAKED RICE IS NEEDED, AND SHE ANSWERED THREE. So what is this? ON THE WAY? You didn't even send the orders to the kitchen in the first place! My mom, cousin and neighbour was very hungry already. The baked rice only came at over 9pm. It took over 1 and a half hour for their supposedly dinner to come.

Then at first, we ordered satay as well. I saw them serving a few to other tables, and stopped. Until I checked with them as well, and they said it's coming. After very long awhile, I saw them mass serving the satays. Like what? Shouldn't you serve based on the table's order instead of mass producing then serving them all at once and let the tables that ordered first wait so long?

I ordered an Ice Chocolate and Banana Chocolate, and after awhile, the Ice Chocolate came. After waiting, I checked again, and they forgot my Banana Chocolate...

The very last dish came, potato cheese balls. When we were already done with other food at like 9.30pm which is their closing time. We thought they forgot this again, and never bothered to ask them.

And the bill. What to expect? More problem. I checked through and saw a smoothie, and a cappuccino charged to us. Then I saw 12 cups of plain water charged to us as well. 5 person drinking 12 cups of water. You kidding me? We came for water buffet? They just mixed up the table's bills and anyhow charge! Ended up they overcharged us over $10+. So glad I checked the bill. Normally, I don't.

Total bill came up to $95.

Totally feel so heart pain. Not cause of the money, but we have to pay for the unpleasant experience, and making my mom and others suffer with empty stomach for so long. When it's supposed to be a celebration.

Will I ever go back again, NO. Unless someone wants to treat, and it's not during peak hour time.
In my opinion, if they can't handle so many customers, then don't open so many tables.
Although the food was not bad.

The only picture I took when we just settled down. Nice ambience though. Then I never bothered to take photos of their foods after that. Was already fuming mad.

P/S: Don't get plain water next time if you wanna go. They charge us 50 cents per cup, and never bothered to let us know when we ordered it, never thinking it's so expensive.

Loots and Ling Zhi, Vegetarian Steamboat Buffet

A few 'beauty' related loots I've gotten these two days!

Bought Sasa's potato essence masks which mom said she personally used potatoes for her skin before, and it actually worked. So bought four masks to share, $1 each only!

Then to Body Shop, bought the Vanilla scent perfume at $35.9, and the body wash that mom took at $12.9, both 15% off as they are having promotion. Then the sponge scrub, at $9.9 each. Over $50, we got a $10 voucher, so we actually got the other scrub for free and 10% off for the paid scrub! Became a member too, as we bought till the minimum amount. Total added up to $50.39

Got this TRESemme hair masque today at Guardian at $14.9. Been wanting to try it since quite long ago, but didn't bear to get it due to the price. Since my current L'Oreal hair mask is finishing, took the chance to buy it!

Yesterday, Brought mom to Novena for a walk and she wanted to try the buffet that we walked past. It's called Ling Zhi, and it was a vegetarian steamboat buffet. Big Brother paid for it even though he was not with us. Credit Card rocks!

Some of the stuffs that we got. Total bill came up to $70. I regretted ordering the coke. It cost $3 excluding GST & Service charge for just a cup!

Nevertheless, as long as mom is satisfied. She rarely go for restaurant as it's expensive especially for vegetarian concept. Told her we shall try Lotus Restaurant's steamboat buffet next! The last time we went, we only tried Ala-carte. 

It will officially be the start of the 4th academic week tomorrow! 2 more weeks to school holiday!

Went back to Sharon for the half head rebonding, $55 with Lihern.
Had Zhi char for dinner afterwards with her and her sister.

2013 & Rebonding

It's a brand new year! I'm actually more excited and looking forward to Chinese New Year. Hahaha.

Anyway, I went for a haircut and rebonding session on the first day of the year with cousin, Lihern! Not on purpose, but because cousin could only get her leave on this day. Tried a new salon as planned, called Kelly Hairdressing. At the same area as the salon I used to go.

Blur pictures as I cropped them. Mom took the photos too far, so I had to edit my gigantic body out. My original long but not silky hair! Pretty obvious, the ends are so thin! They just keep breaking. Bad side of having long hair.

I loved and have the habit to move the hair to the front and play around with them when I'm using the notebook at home.

I can't do it anymore! I'm having the separation sadness now.

The current length and shape. No more V-shape, so there's no tail! Feel the ends are pretty thick. But I'm sure they will break and thin out as time goes, just like what happened before cutting.

Overall, had a pleasant experience at the new salon. As for the skill, will have to wait for a few months before finding out if they're good. Hope the hair will last and won't be damaged!

Soft Rebonding, $139 + $20 additional treatment = $159 total.

Restocked my hair vitamins and L'oreal hair mask at CK as it's cheaper buying from them. Bought Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner to try as cousin recommended it. 

Cousin shared with me the samples for JHK shampoo and hair treatment that the stylist passed to her as she bought a $39 product. Shall see if it works for her before deciding to get it for myself. Been spending a lot on my hair already. With the not helping fact that I have too many products for the hair already!

Kiseki Buffet & Movie

Planned this lunch buffet with cousin Lihern & Maggie few weeks ago, and booked the reservation around 10 days before. The first time I went with another friend, we didn't managed to try it as the queue was horrible even for a weekday late morning. This time, the queue was pretty long too, we even have to queue under the reservation area just for seats and payment. 

$23.3 per person for the final charges. Started at 12.15pm, left at 2.15pm. Pretty satisfied. Brought my camera, but was lazy to take any photos other than some casual ones by phone for instagram.

Went to Cineleisure after that to walk around, then decided on watching movie. Chose Bachelorette due to the time slot, and being a comedy movie. Pretty funny other than some sexual scenes and vulgarities. 

Went to H&M for the first time. Wasn't much of a shopping person, you see. All I can say is, most of the items are so overpriced! The quality isn't really good as well, in my opinion. I guess public are after designs and brands instead. Train back to Sembawang with Lihern after that, around 5.30pm while Maggie went to meet her friends at ION.

Then, I met up with the mother and brother for dinner at Sun Plaza.

Had Japanese food again, Sakae. Due to brother wanting it. Didn't had much as the stomach was still quite full from the buffet earlier, and quite sick of Japanese food again for the day. Fair Price for groceries after that and back home!

Bought Watsons Hair treatment wax to try after reading positive reviews about it. The most popular will be the Beer. But decided to try Milk Protein instead as Beer is more for volume while Milk Protein is for brittle and damaged hair. Saw that it's on a buy one free one promotion, so got cousin to try as well and split the cost. Usual Price $7.90 each.

Rebonding

Been wanting to blog about my trips to many places. But don't like to blog without any photos. Ever since I've started using Instagram, I've been lazy to use my camera. Just so in love with the effects to edit the photos.

Went rebonding today, half head, $55. Intending to try a new salon for my next rebonding session.

Rebonded half head today. $55 as usual. Bought Loreal Deep Repairing Mask to try too. My hair is getting too dry. Especially the ends. Long hair! Bought Ellips calsules to try too. Remembered there was good reviews about it.

Went for half head rebonding today! Got Eileen to accompany me. Total $55, + $39 treatment. Since it's on offer. Usual price, $59.

Before that, went SSC to hunt for flats. As I only have slippers. Not appropriate for tomorrow's company dinner. $29.95 gone.

Rebonding, Movie with Eileen

Been so long since I update. Lost track of what I did, even though there's some random photos. Been lazy to update. Oh well.

Did Fringe Rebonding today. Got Eileen to accompany me! $55 for half head. Around 5pm, we went to Causeway Point. Last minute decision to watch a movie. I wanted to watch Underworld for a very long time already. So I suggested this movie to her. Initially, she thought it's some gangster movie when she heard 'Underworld'. So she said no. Hahaha! After I told her it's about Vampires and Lycans, she agreed instantly. 

Went straight to buy the tickets then foodcourt for dinner. After that, sat at coffee bean as there's still some spare time. Once it's 7.30pm, we went up! Very nice show, as expected. Love it! 4.5/5 stars!

Headed to Fair Price after that. Bought Cheese Tofu and Chicken stock. Intend to cook stuffs with soup and rice for meals. At least healthier than fried and oily food. Then off to home!

Temple day

Cab over to Yishun temple with mum at 5.30pm. Motive, pay a visit to Kong Zi! I think he's known as Confucius in english. As I had another test on this coming Thursday. So, ask for a little help from him. Heh.

Used to be scared of them when I was young. They are very scary! Especially when the room is dark, with purple lights.

After that, we bused to North Point. Had Pasta Mania, since we have the voucher. Total : $26, becoming $21.

No, she's not acting cute. She was chewing her pizza when I snapped this.

Walked around after that, as I don't want to go home so early. Bought Mua Chee and Long Xu Tang from the Chinese New Year Food Fair.

Then to Guardian after that for Nurofen and Salonpas. For my headache and backache. I think my body is getting old...

Went to take a look at the shampoos and decided to buy this to try. $15, not cheap!

Bused home after that.

Rebonding day

Went out with mum at 4pm. Ate Pasta Mania at Sun Plaza.

Around 5pm, bus to ChongPang for my rebonding session. Brought laptop with downloaded movies for mum to watch while waiting for me. Lucky us, no other customers were around. Everything went fast. Done on around 9 or 9.30pm. Total was $167, including ampoule and additional $7 that I owed Sharon. Bought foods for take away from the coffee shop beside the salon for late dinner. Had one of my favorite. BBQ Sambal Stingray! Took bus home after that.
